The hardback edition was originally was published in August 2002 by Pauntley Press, the publishing imprint of Ford & Mason Ltd. It received much critical aclaim and sold out early in 2005.
In 2006 Grub Street Publishing bought the rights to a paperback edition, which was published in June 2006 at £12.99.
